Word has been received of the death at Vicksburg, Michigan, June 1st, of Alexander boyne, a former well known residence of this city. The deceased was in his 81st year. He at one time carried on a large umber business here and was engaged in wharf building. He represented Dukes ward in the common council for a number of years. He was a very strong anti-confederate. Mrs. Charles CLARK, age 83, mother of Charles A. CLARK, Charotte Street and Thos. boyne, age 78, father of G. gordon boyne, are sister and brother of the deceased. His wife and two daughters survive him and are residing in Michigan.
