    Halifax, passed away December 6, 2009, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Montreal,
    Que., he was the son of the late John and Marjorie (Kaye) Kyle. Bill is survived by
    his loving wife, Alberta Morgan; children, Sandra Reid, Halifax; Gregory Kyle,
    Toronto, Ont.; Charlotte (Lee) Kinsey, Hawaii, U.S.A.; Aaron (Julie) Clarke, London,
    Ont., and Naomi (Craig) Shelton, Halifax; grandchildren, Liam Reid, Keegan Reid,
    Jacob Kinsey, Madison Kinsey and Matthew Shelton. Bill was predeceased by wife,
    Shirley; sister, Eileen, and grandson, Benjamin Clarke. Bill was an Average Adjuster
    specializing in Marine insurance. He worked in Montreal, Que., at Marsh McLennan,
    Osborne Lange, Richard Hogg and Reed Stenhouse. In 1979 he transferred to the
    Halifax branch of Reed Stenhouse, which later became Aon. After retiring from Aon,
    Bill set up William Kyle Inc. and continued to practice as an Average Adjuster until
    his illness last month. Bill was a member of the Association of Average Adjusters of
    Canada and an annual subscriber of the Association of Average Adjusters of the
    United Kingdom. As an active member of First Baptist Church Halifax, Bill chaired
    the Music and Personnel Committees and sang in the men's choir. He is a former
    member St. Peter's Anglican Church, where he and Shirley attended as a family.
    There will be no visitation by request of the family. A celebration of Bill's life will be
    held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 10 in First Baptist Church 1300 Oxford St.,
    Halifax, Rev. John Boyd officiating. Burial will take place in Avondale, N.B., at a
    later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice or a
    donation can be made in Bill's name in honour of his ancestor to the Barter Memorial
