COMOX, B. C. — Ernest Bayard Trueman, 81, died in Comox, where during the past year he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Donald Palmeter. Son of the late William Alder and Georgina (Currie) Trueman, he was born in Albert, N. B. Mr. Trueman served on the staff of the Canadian Bank of Commerce in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia becoming manager of the La Have and Parrsboro branches where he retired in 1945. He was a member of Saint George's Anclican Church, Parrsboro, where he served as a member of the vestry and choir, and as treasurer for many years. Surviving are his second wife, Kay; one daughter, Margaret Jean Palmeter, and one son, Rev. Whitley Trueman, rector of Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Charlottetown, and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint George's Church, Parrsboro. |
