Rebecca Steadman
The death took place at the residence of her son, Mr. Emmerson Steadman, on Thursday night, of Mrs. Rebecca Steadman, in the 86th year of her age. The deceased, who was a member of the Baptist church, was a daughter of the late Timothy Horsman and born at Lutz Mountain in 1841[sic], and lived in the parish or city all her lifetime. She is survived by four daughters and one son. The daughters are Mrs. Jos. Clark, Mrs. Chas. Butters and Mrs. Chas. Everett, all of Malden, Mass., and Mrs. A. Woods[sic], of Lake Killarney, N.S. The son is Emmerson Steadman, of the I.C.R., Moncton. Two brothers, Edward Horsman and Timothy Horsman, and one sister, Mrs. James Lutz, all of Lutz Mountain, survive her. The funeral takes place this afternoon. |
