FLETCHER, E. JEAN -
Wife of the late Earl J. Fletcher, passed away April 3, 2002, at the home of her daughter, Pamela Curtis, Grayson, Georgia. Born in Hartland, NB, youngest daughter of the late Harry B. and Ruth (Orser) Barter, she attended Hartland Superior School, Mount Carmel Academy in Saint John, NB and Provincial Normal School. She taught school in NB, then in Fairfield, Connecticut for 29 years. Predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter Marsha Sochor, and sister Irene Harding, Jean is survived by her daughter Pamela (Jim), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister Laura Foster of Saint John, NB and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean maintained a residence at East Grand Lake (Fosterville), NB, where she enjoyed summers each year with her family and friends. A Memorial Service was held in Atlanta Georgia, and a second Service will be held in Hartland this summer. |
