Elmer Stiles Hoar was born Elmer Woodworth Stiles in Illinois and when searching for records the family is found as Stiles in place of Hoar until they returned to New Brunswick in the early 1900's. He was deaf and mute from an attach of scarlet fever as a infant. He died in a fall from a Hay wagon that broke his neck. He was my Great Grandfather.
